Do you live in Canada's Capital? Do you want to get more involved the fight against climate change?

This weekend:

This coming weekend is a huge weekend for those interested in getting involved locally with climate change issues.

This Saturday is "Fill the Hill". Taking place at Parliament Hill, it is a peaceful protest and event meant to spread the word about global warming, and to show the government that the general public cares about the environment and is ready for them to take initiative.
If attending, the event is taking place between 12:30 and 3:30. However, the main event starts at 2:00.

Please remember that it is a PEACEFUL event.
Acts of violence, abusive behavior, substance abuse, etc. is HIGHLY discouraged, and will not be tolerated.

Also, this weekend, The Power shift Conference is taking place. It's a conference meant for youth wanting to get involved on environmentally related issues. Google it for more details!

A Viridis Universitas

Hey guys,
We are a group of 4 teenagers who have come together to help the Earth. To help find a better future for our planet, and the generations to come.
We have come together to make a video entry to submit to the Get Reel on Climate Change Contest hosted by UNICEF.
We hope that our video will be eye openers for some, and an element of motivation for others.
Our Group

Our Group came about when we were holding the biweekly environmental club meeting at our school, Colonel By.
Our Mission is to raise environmental awareness and to motivate others to be environmentally conscious.
We are a very culturally diverse group, consisting of Rosey Li, Katilyn McNeil, Kathy Chang, and Nathan Starzynski.
How Can You Help?

You can help us by rating and favouriting our 5 minute video entry for the Get Reel on Climate Change Contest on Youtube.
(The link will be posted when our video is up)
You can also help us by helping the earth, as cliche as it sounds!
